Applying filters is not all you can do. You can also add a watermark on your video. The software lets you choose a specific font and customize its size and color. If you need only a small bit of a video, you can cut it out, by setting a start and an end position on a timeline, on a separate tab, after which you can simply save the selected segment through a standard Save As dialog.
